Residents are treated to two massive idyllic parks to enjoy the changing seasons. A 54-acre park designed by the Olmsted Brothers (who also designed Central Park), Verona Park features a lake and boathouse, seasonal fishing, tennis courts, playgrounds, and bocce courts.
 
At 77 acres, Cedar Grove Park is the fourth largest in the county park system, offering four bocce courts, a farm-themed playground, fitness stations and walking paths.
 
Popular among residents, Verona Pool offers respite from hot summer days with a large pool, two water slides, multiple diving boards, baby pool, playground, snack bar, gazebo, and sports courts.
 
Verona's many historic draws include the Afterglow neighborhood, where most of homes were constructed in the 1920s and 1930s, and the Enos Martin House- the towns oldest, which was built in the late 18th century. And bordering Verona and nearby Montclair, is a medieval Norman castle replica, the 9,000-sq-ft Kip's Castle, which is also used as a community meeting space and wedding venue.
